Poppers are inhalants that gay men
love. They have in their composition an assortment of alkyl nitrates,
mostly isobutyl nitrate and isopropyl nitrate, which when sniffed,
give a head-rush high that lasts a couple of minutes and can also
enhance sexual experiences. In addition to gay men, poppers are also
popular among students who usually smell them to intensify the high
throughout the night, as a fast way to coming back to euphoria. The
effect doesn't last that longer, but can be bright and brilliant.
